- Be a high school senior
- Possess an aptitude for scholarship, a steady work ethic and strong academics
- Demonstrate a heart for service through leadership in church, community, and/or school
- Live in an urban area in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and in or outside the five boroughs of New York
Scholars will receive:
- Full tuition scholarships for four years
- Unique leadership training working in a team to address community issues while developing the academic, social and spiritual skills essential for college success
- Ongoing support from individuals committed to their success, including an on-campus Faculty/Staff mentor, upperclassman Clarendon Scholar mentor, as well as mentors from local churches and communities
Each year, ten diverse students are selected to attend college together as a team. Through peer support, mentoring relationships, and leadership training, scholars are equipped to succeed in all areas of their college experience, while nurturing their vision for service in the city.
